Last Thursday, ten members of Newport & District Running Club took on the second race of the Stone Master Marathoners’ Spring Treble series, and this one may be the toughest one of the three: the Kibblestone Klamber. Taking in three muddy off-road laps around the Kibblestone Scout camp, each of which feature around 100m of climbing, this race tests runners to the limit.

Alex Millington was the first NDRC runner, taking 6th place overall, and 1st in his category, with a time of 40 minutes, 13 seconds, ahead of Peter Johnstone, who ran a time of 48:17 for 37th position. Graham Rogers was next, finishing 60th overall in a time of 52:59, whilst Annabel Bolton was 86th in 1:00:28.
