Throughout the year, our members can be found taking part in races – some local, and some a bit further afield.

This calendar is a rough guide to some local races (and other events!) where our members are likely to be taking part. If you see us there, do come and say hi! We usually aim to take a “group photo” at races where multiple club members are taking part.

If you know of a local race or event that may be of interest to our members and the wider community, please email publicity.ndrc@gmail.com or newportdrc@gmail.com to let us know, and we’ll add it to the list.

Similarly, if you are looking to promote your own event and it is reasonably local to Newport, Shropshire, get in touch with the details and we will add it to the calendar.

Monday January 26th – Track Session Oakengates 6:45pm (NDRC Members only)

2026 MARCH

Sunday March 15th – Chetwynd Deer Park 10k, new race organised by NDRC- details to follow.

Wednesday May 27th – Orienteering at Longford – details to follow (NDRC Members only)
