Newport and District Running Club (NDRC) is a running club based in Newport, Telford & Wrekin, Shropshire. Most of our members live in Newport or the surrounding area, so we cover parts of Staffordshire, Telford & Wrekin and Shropshire.
It is affiliated to England Athletics, and was founded in 1982.
In 2022, we marked our 40th anniversary, and to mark the occasion, one of the founding members of the club, Ken Jones, put together this article about the early days of the club.
