New for 2026, the Chetwynd Deer Park 10K bursts onto the local running scene in partnership with the beautiful Chetwynd Deer Park, bringing a fresh, vibrant event to the local calendar.

Runners can look forward to an uplifting atmosphere, stunning scenery, and a smooth, professionally organised experience from start to finish. The very first race on Sunday 15 March 2026 (10:00am race start) invites participants of all levels to enjoy a lively, feel-good route through one of the area’s most picturesque settings.

With its mix of natural beauty, community spirit, and race-day buzz, we hope that the Chetwynd Deer Park 10K will become a standout annual favourite! The course is a two-lap multi-terrain course, so do assess weather conditions on the day leading up to the race, and consider trail shoes.

Please note that the course is approximately 10k, not a measured 10k.

Parking will be accessed via the main entry to Chetwynd Deer Park, off the B5063 Newport to Shrewsbury road (TF10 8EU – note that this postcode covers a large rural area, so please check a map if you are unfamiliar with the area).

For 2026, entries cost £24 (plus a £1.25 admin fee), with a £2 discount available for affiliated club members.
