On Wednesday night, Telford AC’s Sexarathon series concluded for another year, with the 6th and final race of this year’s series, the Harper Scarper. For Newport & District Running Club, this is a very local race, as it takes place in and around the University campus of Harper Adams, on a one-lap clockwise “lollipop” course, which takes in the roads, tracks and woodland of the area to the north of campus, and features around 35 metres of elevation change.

Alex Millington was the first NDRC runner to finish, taking 19th place overall in a time of 17 minutes, 16 seconds. Alex Cochrane was next, clocking a time of 18:20 in 40th position, closely followed by Robin Guy, who was 50th in 18:44, and Harry Wilmot, who finished 52nd in a time of 18:50.
