On Wednesday night, Newport & District Running Cub were well represented at the Vic Musgrove “Fast 5k”, the fourth race in this year’s Sexarathon Series. Taking place in Telford Town Park, the race takes in two different length laps of the Randlay Pool area, using a course similar to, but distinct from, Telford parkrun. With the start at the top of the hill, by the rugby club, and the finish at the bottom of the hill near the amphitheatre, the “net downhill” elevation profile gives the opportunity for some fast times.
