Last Wednesday night, there was a good turnout of Newport & District Running Club members at the “Shropshire 4 Miler”, the third race in Telford AC’s “Sexarathon” series of races. Taking place in and around Granville Country Park, the course is a 4-mile “lollipop” style course, with runners starting down Granville Road near the “Asda roundabout”, then completing two and a half laps of a route which finishes near the clubhouse of the Shropshire golf club. Each lap contains a challenging hill, which brings the total elevation gain to around 70m for the whole race.
